Compared to traditional underwater respirators, athletes inhale and exhale through two completely separate snorkels, which means you can breathe fresh, oxygen-rich air in the water as if it were on land.
Fresh air: Dry oxygen flows in the top & CO2 is exhaled out the bottom
No gurgling or purging: 1 way air valves help prevent water intake. Saliva/water ease out the bottom
Unobstructed vision, aerodynamic comfort, adjusts for 10 years old and up
Never Turn your head, Enjoy the view & find your meditative Zen
Open water, local pool, or even choppy ocean conditions
Swim further, faster, with relaxed breathing
Suitable for swimming pools and calm waters. Suitable for swimmers who don't need to turn around in the water. This model is suitable for swimmers or swim beginners who want to exercise by swimming.
Nice style and dials to a perfect fit. Plastic is thin on tubes, but strong. It takes getting use to like information says because of the air valve pressure. Don't just jump in and swim....you have to bob in the water for a few minutes to get use to the breather valve. It is like scuba diving with the bubbles coming out the front and up your face which is bothersome when swimming laps.
Worth every cent! This is a truly remarkable addition to ant swimmer of any proficiency level' bag. The variety of end cash and lengths make it awesome in open water swims and equally at home in the pool.
I've been using the Powerbreather for a couple of weeks now and I'm used to the way you have to breath now. I have found that I can relax while swimming laps now and I even loose myself while swimming. Yesterday I was able to swim 3 miles. Previously without the Powerbreather I struggled to swim 1/2 mile. I can't say enough good things about the Powerbreather. I now enjoy going to the pool and working out.
